The house is located in the land of Syðri-Reykir farm in Biskupstungur, Bláskógabyggð. Below are route maps of the area and a short route description.
From Reykjavík:
Drive on the main road no. 1 towards Selfoss, make a turn of road no. 1 onto road no. 35, Biskupstungnabraut just before you get to Selfoss and drive along Ingólfsfjall mountain on road no. 35 for about 40 km. Then turn onto road no. 335, which is a gravel road, just about 2 km before you get to the village Reykholt. Drive on road 335 for about 6 km or until you get to Syðri-Reykir farm, then make a turn to the right on a road with a road sign labeled Vatnsholt.
